The Fire Brigade Association
The Fire Brigade Association is the umbrella organization of the fire department, and it is from here that the active members are recruited.
The association supports the armed forces. It is self-supporting and there are various types of
Membership.
Active members: These are club members between the ages of 14 and 60 who participate in the fire department's operations. Membership is exempt.
Passive members: These are club members who have been active in the fire service for at least 25 years and can no longer be active due to age, professional or health reasons.
Supporting members: These are club members who support the fire department with their annual membership fee of 15 euros.
All club members, friends and patrons of the fire department are welcome to the Flori evenings, which take place every Thursday from about 7.30 p.m.
Through the mix of Thursday evenings, the seniors often pass on valuable knowledge to the younger generation, and they are always up to date with the latest equipment. This way, everyone can pass something on to one another.
The club also hosts a summer festival, an outing, an annual general meeting, and a punch evening every year. The club also displays its flag for special birthdays, weddings, and funerals.
If we have piqued your interest in the club, just drop by on a Thursday evening.
